Senior Industrial Millwrights in Barrie maintain CNC machinery, robotics, and PLC-controlled systems across straight days or afternoons. Troubleshoot advanced equipment in automated manufacturing.
This full-time permanent position suits a 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright with five-plus years of post-certification experience. The work includes hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs. You will also coach junior trades team members while supporting reliability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced manufacturing equipment
- Support CNC machines, robotics, PLC-driven systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Perform preventative maintenance, overhauls, calibrations, and emergency repairs
- Lead equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
- Document maintenance activities using CMMS systems
Requirements:
- Hold 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright certification or Interprovincial Red Seal
- Bring at least five years of post-certification experience
- Have automated manufacturing environment experience
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, or PLC systems
- Demonstrate leadership, coaching, communication, and professionalism
