VxLAN - Platform knowledge on Cisco Switching & Routing Platforms -Nexus 9000 Series Data Centre Switching Platform- ASR 1000x Series Routers -ASR 9000 Series Routers - Platform Knowledge on Arista Switching platforms - Working knowledge on various Network Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, NXOS, IOS-XR, Arista EOS The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience with a Financial Services Firm, Technology vendor or systems integrator designing, and implementing large scale networks. Strong experience and hands-on candidate in Data Center Networking (Routing and Switching), SD WAN is mandatory with Cisco certification- CCIE. Roles and Responsibilities: The engineer will be responsible for evaluating, engineering, designing, and troubleshooting enterprise scale Data Centre networks. • The candidate will be responsible for • Authoring of design documents, engineering standards and creating best practice technical architecture models utilizing knowledge of industry and technical trends • Mentoring and knowledge transfer to team members across the organization. • Participating in the weekly design meetings • Engaging with project managers to develop the execution and test plans for network changes. • Serve as an escalation for the operating teams during network outages. • Ability to work both independently and as a team member is essential. • Strong presentation skills are imperative to be able to explain network design, articu-late risk, and facilitate decision making. • Strong security focus and experience with Network Security Concepts and Multi-tier Security architectures.
