Do you have experience in Palliative Care? We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our Langley Palliative Care team to practice in a clinical setting (acute, hospice, & community). This position is Relief Part Time and is available until February 2027 or return of incumbent. As a Nurse Practitioner specializing in palliative care, you’ll play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for patients and their families. You will be an integral part of a collaborative and collegial team of physicians, nurses, and allied health staff, working together to provide exceptional patient care. - Diagnoses and treats previously undiagnosed patients/clients/residents for undifferentiated diseases, disorders, and conditions within the Nurse Practitioner's scope of practice; writes orders for treatment and medications; provides first line care in emergencies.
- Monitors ongoing care, orders appropriate screening diagnostic investigations; interprets reports of investigations and analyzes information to monitor progress and plan treatment.
