INSURANCE ADMINISTRATOR The Organization: Created by dentists, CDSPI is a not-for-profit organization established in 1959 with the sole purpose of arranging programs for the benefit of dentists who are members of CDSPI's member dental associations. CDSPI helps dentists and dental students achieve and maintain financial well-being by empowering them to protect and grow their wealth with customized financial advice, insurance, and investments. Reporting Structure: Reports to the Manager of Insurance and Investment Administration About the Job: We are seeking an Insurance Administrator responsible for the daily processing of a variety of insurance administrative transactions in response to client requests and/or contractual requirements in a timely manner. The position requires very strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and manage a high-volume workload. Key Responsibilities: Accurately process a high volume of daily transactions for a variety of insurance products, including life, property and casualty, in response to client requests. Ensure transactions are handled in accordance with agreed timelines. Review client requests to ensure all requirements have been met before processing. Contribute to environment of continuous improvement that assesses workflow, processes and procedures on an ongoing basis, ensuring efficiency and high level of customer service within the department. Deliver ongoing client satisfaction by ensuring deliverables meet client needs and expectations. Perform other duties as assigned from time to time by the Manager of Insurance and Investment Administration or by the Chief Operating Officer. Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Three to five years of experience in financial services administration, preferably with a strong foundation in insurance operations. Post secondary education in business administration, finance, accounting, economics or a related field. Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all tasks. Skilled at effectively prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and deliver results. Highly developed organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated strong work ethic and consistently high-performance standards. Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills, thriving in both independent and collaborative team settings. Embraces innovative, "out-of-the-box" thinking to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement.
