As the Senior Azure Data Engineer, you are a key part of an innovative, Enterprise Technology culture, contributing to CIBC's digital transformation. You'll provide detailed technical designs and development of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms. You'll build easy, flexible, and personalized banking solutions that enhance client experience and change the way that people bank.

Convert specifications about business requirements into programming instructions. Conduct impact analysis, and analysis of organizational needs & goals, for development and implementation of application systems. Dedication to good development practices like unit testing, code reviews and pull requests
* Programming Ability: Develop, review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large-scale system. Code Quality: Contribute to code-review sessions and ensure overall code quality aligns with business and project requirements. Monitor production and user acceptance testing support to troubleshoot complex problems on applications and technologiesWho You Are
* You can demonstrate 4-6 years of hands-on development expertise with Scala, Python, PySpark and SQL with technical experience in Maven, GitHub, JFrog and Bash. You have 3 or more years of working experience building scalable Data frameworks in Azure Cloud technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Unity Catalog, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Blob, Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor and Azure Data Catalogue/Purview.
