Technical Artist Type: Contract on T4
We are seeking an experienced Technical Artist to collaborate with peers in developing and maintaining high-quality tools, pipelines, systems, and runtime performance. The ideal candidate will work with the Technical Art team to ensure real-time gameplay maintains high visual quality yet remains performant and functional.
Join our team as a Technical Artist and contribute to the success of groundbreaking projects in the gaming industry. This role is crucial in ensuring optimal visual quality and performance in our games.
Collaborate with various art teams to optimize runtime performance
- Use PIX to address content performance concerns
- Troubleshoot performance issues in Environments, Animation, and Character Art
- Educate, document technical processes, and communicate with external vendors
- Fix bugs in the game as reported
Strong knowledge of video game production
- Problem-solving skills for technical issues
- Familiarity with 2D/3D art packages and scripting/programming languages
- Experience with Houdini/Substance Designer
- Previous game development experience
