Become a Senior Java Engineer focusing on deployment security in a hybrid role based in Mississauga. Design and develop microservices with Java 17+, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes to enhance organizational security. This position offers the chance to work with a tier-1 financial institution to strengthen its deployment security platform. Collaborate with SREs and DevOps engineers while managing the full microservices lifecycle from coding to production. Mentor mid-level engineers and drive crucial technical decisions within your squad. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop microservices with Java 17+ and Spring Boot
- Deploy applications on Kubernetes in AWS cloud
- Build CI/CD integrations using GitHub Actions for security
- Manage the complete lifecycle: coding, testing, deployment
- Mentor 3 to 4 mid-level engineers in best practices
- 8+ years of experience in Java development (Java 11/17+)
- In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift
- Strong understanding of distributed systems
- Must possess valid Canadian work authorization
