Bring your organizational skills to Michels Canada as a Yard Coordinator in Nisku. This full-time role focuses on maintaining safety and efficiency across a busy yard with over 1,500 pieces of equipment. Michels Canada is looking for a self-motivated Yard Coordinator to join our team. This position requires a commitment to safety and effective communication with shop teams and external vendors. You will support yard operations and ensure that our workflow remains smooth throughout the year. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a strong safety culture for employees and vendors
- Perform inspections and repairs on small tools and equipment
- Conduct yard housekeeping and clear hazards from work areas
- Assist with equipment staging and yard moves
- Manage shipping, receiving, and inventory for jobsites
- 3+ years of outdoor heavy labor experience
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Experience operating a forklift and loader preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
