As an Estimator reporting to the Chief Estimator, you will handle everything from reviewing bid documents to preparing proposals. This position requires strong analytical skills and a commitment to accuracy, as you will frequently interact with clients and subcontractors for clarification and bidding details. Candidate’s experience in the construction industry is essential, and familiarity with software tools will enhance your success. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage estimates and submit proposals for various projects
- Coordinate with estimating teams and oversee bid documentation
- Ensure effective communication with clients and subcontractors
- Participate actively in all estimator meetings
- Stay updated on industry trends and practices
- Minimum four years in the construction sector
- Two years in estimating, preferably civil-related
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and estimating software
- Strong verbal and written English communication
- Post-secondary education in Engineering preferred
