As part of the Wellness Department, the Lab Assistant reports to the Chair of Wellness Research & Innovation. This position involves aiding student learning in a simulated classroom environment. Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills and a clear understanding of student conduct to excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with student learning activities in a lab environment
• Support Medical Device Reprocessing program initiatives
• Maintain classroom organization and student engagement
• Implement conflict resolution strategies as needed
• Use Microsoft Office tools for communication and documentation
Requirements:
• One year certificate in Medical Device Reprocessing
• Three years general experience; one year as a Technician
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
