As a Support Worker, you'll assist in observing and documenting resident care while ensuring compliance with established plans. Attending training sessions and helping onboard new staff are key parts of your role. You'll play a significant role in adhering to IPAC procedures to maintain a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring and documenting resident care
- Attend in-service training and meetings regularly
- Facilitate the onboarding of new colleagues
- Ensure adherence to IPAC policies
- Report care findings to supervisors
Requirements:
- Graduate from a Personal Support Worker training program
- Knowledge of vocational and quality standards
- Understanding of effective geriatric care
- Familiarity with sanitation techniques
- Ability to follow and implement care plans
