Join our innovative team as a Frontend Engineering Manager based in Toronto, Ontario. Lead the development of user-friendly web applications while fostering a collaborative engineering environment. We are in search of a Frontend Engineer Manager with extensive experience to drive our web application initiatives. This role demands strong leadership skills and a minimum of five years in frontend development. You will oversee the management of engineers, promote best coding practices, and ensure alignment with business goals through effective project management. Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor the frontend engineering team in best practices
- Oversee the design and development of intuitive web apps
- Perform regular code reviews to maintain code quality
- Collaborate with designers and backend developers
- Facilitate team communication with stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Five or more years of frontend development experience
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular
- Strong understanding of web performance and design principles
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
