Embark on a fulfilling career as an Assistant Timber Cruiser with Strategic, a respected natural resource consultancy in British Columbia. This role involves outdoor activities and mentoring in a positive work environment. You will conduct timber cruising to gather data crucial for project deliverables while collaborating with a team committed to Natural Resource Management. A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role is required; candidates with an ATC designation will be given precedence. Your ability to communicate effectively and work hard is vital to the success of this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct timber cruising in varied outdoor settings
- Collaborate with resource management professionals
- Mentor and train new cruisers and compassmen
- Maintain strong communication with team members
- Exhibit a strong work ethic and dedication
- At least one year experience as a Timber Cruiser
- Excellent physical fitness
- Proficient in cruising-related software
- Strong map-reading and navigation abilities
- Valid class 5 driver's license
