Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a Technical Sales Representative will include:

  • Sales and Business Development:
  • Provide expert advice and identify new opportunities and customers in your designated territory.
  • Develop close working relationships with engineering firms, contractors, end-users, and OEMs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for accounts, maintaining relationships and driving new business.
  • Product Demonstration and Support:
  • Conduct in-person, virtual, and trade show demonstrations of various product lines.
  • Provide after-sales support, including troubleshooting, field service repairs, start-ups, and training.
  • Client Engagement and Negotiation:
  • Negotiate terms with clients and close sales effectively.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports, including visit reports, market updates, and sales activities.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:

  • Education & Experience:
  • A post-secondary education, preferably in a technical or mechanical discipline.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in surface pumps, systems, or a similar field.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and tools like Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving abstract.
