Be part of Tayco's dynamic Engineering Team as a Product Engineer in Etobicoke. Your role will focus on developing high-quality office furniture solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards. At Tayco, recognized for our values of efficiency and ownership, we are looking for a Product Engineer with a solid background in mechanical engineering. In this full-time position, you will tackle product challenges, support testing and documentation efforts, and drive innovations in manufacturing processes across multi-disciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer new office furniture solutions
- Conduct thorough prototypes and testing
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation
- Collaborate to ensure products meet market needs
- Coordinate with suppliers for component sourcing
- Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- P. Engineering License or equivalent required
- 5-7 years of engineering experience required
- Familiarity with ISO procedures
- Excellent team collaboration skills
