Associate Lawyer

We are looking for a lawyer with 3-5 years of experience in litigation or tribunal advocacy. Private sector, Government lawyers or in-house litigation counsel, this could be a great opportunity for you We value our people and the environment in our firm. We are looking for an early-career lawyer who has excellent writing skills, an interest or experience in litigation, and a willingness to learn. Role Description - lawyer

This is a full or part-time hybrid role for an Associate lawyer, based in mid-town Toronto, ON. The role involves working with clients in construction negotiation or litigation matters, tribunal proceedings (LAT, HRTO, regulatory discipline committees), preparing legal documents, conducting research, reviewing documents. Effective communication within the team and with clients is a key part of the position. Flexible hybrid arrangement for both in-office (in our beautiful space in a fully-converted Victorian house) and work from home.

Qualifications - lawyer

• Strong written and oral advocacy skills, and the drive to continually learn and improve
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Experience in civil litigation or tribunal proceedings is a must
• Membership in good standing with the LSO required

Associate Paralegal

Role Description - paralegal

This is a full or part-time hybrid role for a Paralegal Associate, based in Toronto, ON. The role involves conducting prosecutions, tribunal proceedings, preparing legal documents, conducting research, reviewing documents, and effective communication within the team and with clients. Some work from home is acceptable, offering a balance of in-office and remote work.

Qualifications - paralegal

• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Experience with Tribunals and POA prosecutions is a plus
• Paralegal certification or a legal-related degree
• 8-15 years of experience preferred
