WSP is searching for a Senior Technical Advisor in Environmental Science, focusing on Upstream Oil and Gas projects. This position combines technical leadership with mentorship in a dynamic work setting.
Located in either Edmonton or Calgary, you will join WSP's Remediation Program Management team, renowned for its excellence in environmental consulting over the last 15 years. Your role will involve strategic development of closure plans and risk management for contaminated sites while engaging with diverse stakeholders. You'll play a vital part in nurturing junior staff and fostering innovation within the team.
Key Responsibilities
• Devise plans for site closure and risk management
• Evaluate reports from environmental assessments
• Engage with diverse stakeholders, including regulators
• Drive innovation in environmental remediation techniques
• Mentor team members on best practices in assessments
Requirements:
• Degree in Environmental Sciences or a related discipline
• 20+ years of environmental consulting experience
• Strong proficiency in health and safety protocols
• Excellent communication within a collaborative environment
• Relevant certifications in environmental science Lead impactful projects at WSP, where your expertise enriches the Environmental Science landscape. #J-18808-Ljbffr
