We are currently searching for aDevOps Engineer - AWS Connect for our IT Consulting client to work on a long term project with a major transportation company.Type: 6 month contract to start but this will be a long term project with projected extensionsRate Range: $70 - $90/hr C2CLocation: onsite - client is based in Etobicoke, ONNumber of Roles: 6Our client's prrojectteam is growing and we are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer with a background in AWS Connectto join theirteam in Etbicoke, ON.Job SummaryAs a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools necessary for our software development and deployment processes. You will work closely with our development team to ensure a seamless and efficient software delivery pipeline.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement automated deployment processes using AWS ConnectMonitor and maintain the infrastructure and tools used for software development and deploymentTroubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the deployment processCollaborate with the development team to ensure smooth integration of new features and updatesImplement and maintain security protocols and best practices for our infrastructureContinuously improve and optimize the software delivery pipelineStay up-to-date with the latest DevOps tools and technologies and make recommendations for implementationCreate and maintain technical documentation for the deployment process and infrastructureParticipate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and issue resolutionQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps EngineerStrong understanding of AWS Connect and other AWS servicesExperience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or PuppetProficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or RubyExperience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and KubernetesKnowledge of networking and security protocolsExperience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, ELK stack, or SplunkStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAWS certifications are a plusThis is a contractor position based in Etobicoke, ON. The contract duration is for 6 months with the possibility of extension. The candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week with a competitive hourly rate.
