Primary Responsibilities Supporting the functioning of the anesthesiology role in the Operating Room and Labour and Delivery Managing mechanically ventilated patients, including modification of ventilation in accordance with ventilation and weaning protocols Assisting in the transport of intubated patients Ongoing assessment and intervention for high‑risk respiratory failure patients Achieving certification in intubation and arterial line insertion Participating in the on‑call rotation Qualifications Must hold a valid certificate from the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario New graduates are invited to apply – we are excited to support early‑career talent Current BCLS, ACLS certification required; PALS and NPR certification an asset Able to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and time‑management skills Demonstrated previous clinical experience Demonstrated commitment to quality patient care Home oxygen experience an asset Excellent attendance and work record Primary Responsibilities Also Include Safety (patient, worker & workplace) is a BCHS Corporate Priority. The successful applicant will demonstrate good stewardship in the identification, reporting and mitigation of unsafe acts or conditions.
