Be a part of a team that makes all that happenFUN ENGAGING RESPECTFUL ACCOUNTABLE PASSIONATEThe Science Camp Counsellor will deliver quality, hands-on, fun, and entertaining science camp experiences to children (aged 4-14) across Northwestern Ontario from mid-June to late August. The counsellor will work within a team of staff, while individually leading their own group, to provide supervision, leadership, and ensure the physical and emotional safety of all camp participants. Science CampCounsellors lead a group of campers, organizing the camp activities from setup to to cleanup and everything in between.That “in between” will see you actively engaging with campers, entertaining and educating them, taking responsibility for safety and security and ensuring an incredible overall camp experience that builds core memories.Positions are based in Kenora.As Science North continues to grow our long-term presence in the North West, we are passionate about recruiting and hirng youth from Kenora to deliver and guide young science campers in their local communities. To help meet these goals, Science North is pleased to provide an additional $3 per hour location incentive on top of a competitive base hourly rate, for those individuals.Interested candidates must have a passion for learning, experience working with children, and outstanding communication abilities.
