Tax Associate

Typical Day Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and via virtual tools such as video, phone, chat, email. Prepare complete and accurate tax returns. Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services. Provide clients with IRS support. Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration. Grow your tax expertise. Desired Experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment. Experience working in a fast‑paced, supportive environment. Ability to work a minimum of 25–35 hours weekly throughout tax season and up to 40 hours during peak weeks. Qualifications Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course. Experience working in a fast‑paced environment. Comfort working with virtual tools—video, phone, chat. Ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone, and in writing. Must meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.
