Business Analyst

As a member of the Project Management Office, the Business Analyst will provide services to internal departments and customers. The BA will specialize in process mapping, gap analysis, process improvement, requirements analysis, and data analytics reporting. This role is key to improving operational efficiency to support JSI’s organizational goals. Responsibilities Process Mapping & Gap Analysis: Identify and document current processes, analyze gaps, and recommend improvements. Process Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to enhance business processes and increase efficiency. Requirements Analysis: Gather, analyze, and document business requirements to ensure alignment with project objectives. Data Analytics & Reporting: Gather, review and analyze data and create and maintain dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights and support decision‑making. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet business objectives. Project Management: Assist in planning, scheduling, and managing project tasks and deliverables, ensuring alignment with PMO standards and timelines. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration with preference for a major in Business Analysis, Data Analytics, Information Technology or equivalent work experience. Proficiency in data analytics tools and software (e.g., Visio, Excel, Power BI). Experience with ERP operations and/or ERP projects. Experience with AI workflow and process tools considered an asset. 4 years' experience in a business environment with a minimum 2 years' experience analyzing and mapping various business processes and protocols. Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or desire to obtain certification. Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
