Here are some of the fantastic perks and benefits you can expect while working:Competitive compensation packageCommitment to your ongoing professional developmentOpportunities for advancement and growth within the firmHybrid workplace with flexible hoursDiverse work exposure as a full-service accounting firm, you will engage in various areas, including assurance, taxation, and audit, working with clients of all sizes and industriesA collaborative environment with an open-door policy for easy access to Partners and ManagementPaid health and wellness days4-day summer workweeks in July and AugustFlexible dress codeIn-house training programsYear-round social and community eventsAbout the RoleAn Assurance Manager to join our diverse and collaborative team In this client-facing leadership position, you will work closely with our team of managers and associates to implement accounting, tax, and business planning strategies for our clients.Your primary responsibilities will include:Overseeing client engagements to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and meets our high-quality standards, resulting in highly satisfied clients.Managing files by setting project budgets, planning activities, monitoring staff progress, and reviewing projects for accuracy and completeness.Addressing dynamic accounting and tax-related questions and challenges.Mentoring and managing your by example and guiding staff on engagement priorities.Serving as the day-to-day client relationship manager.Reviewing financial statements and tax returns for select clients.Preparing submissions for the CRA.Supporting the marketing of our organization to existing and potential clients as needed.Required Experience, Qualifications, and Characteristics:5+ years of public practice experience, with a focus on reviews and compilations for a variety of clients; audit experience is a plus1+ years of team management experienceComprehensive understanding of ASPE, ASNPO, and generally accepted auditing standards, along with common audit procedures and techniquesAbility to research and analyze financial statement and audit-related issuesCapacity to provide clear and concise accounting insights to clients, including on complex mattersFamiliarity with the challenges faced by small to medium-sized businessesIndependent, highly motivated, and a self-starterExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with a commitment to maintaining open and transparent dialogue with colleagues and clientsEffective relationship-builder we want our clients and team members to appreciate your contributionsOne Team mindset open to collaboration and bringing positive energy to the team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
