Wetaskiwin Co-op is located in central Alberta operating in 9 locations in 5 communities of Wetaskiwin, Innisfail, Camrose, Edmonton and Falun. What you’ll do: Responsible to always provide an exceptional level of customer service. Be professional, friendly, and courteous, contributing to a positive team environment. Process transactions of cash, debit, credit card, charge accounts, gift cards and cheques through the point-of-sale terminal using the Mi9 system. Respond to general customer and member inquiries and be familiar with in-store promotions, bulletins, updates, and products. Ensure adherence to merchandising standards, marketing efforts, and housekeeping standards while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Troubleshooting till and customer service issues. Other duties as assigned. Who you are: You have strong work ethic and a positive team player attitude. You have excellent attention to detail skills. You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do. Applicants must be available to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays. Previous cashier experience is considered an asset.
