VML is seeking a talented and strategic Digital Content & Social Media Manager to lead and execute our digital content strategies across key platforms like YouTube, blogs, and various social media channels. This role is a dynamic blend of strategic planning, hands-on execution, content development, publishing, and performance analysis, all aimed at driving audience engagement and enhancing brand visibility. If you're ready to make a significant impact on our digital presence and connect with our audiences in meaningful ways, we want to hear from youWhat You'll DoYouTube Strategy & Growth: Take ownership of our YouTube channel, leading its strategic reorganization and reset to align with brand goals and drive audience growth targets.Content Strategy & Briefing: Develop comprehensive monthly content briefs for 35+ posts, leveraging social insights, platform trends, and audience-specific data for each handle.Performance & Insights: Collaborate closely with analytics teams to interpret data, apply qualitative insights, and contribute to robust monthly performance reports.Executive Social Support: Provide expert management for executive-level social media activity, including strategic retweeting, engagement, and content amplification.Content Calendar Management: Maintain and meticulously update the content calendar, ensuring timely and strategic publishing across all digital platforms.Publishing & Scheduling: Execute seamless publishing workflows across social media and blog platforms, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and timeliness.Creative Asset Coordination: Manage creative handoffs efficiently, ensuring all assets meet platform specifications, brand standards, and creative vision.Blog Management: Lead the weekly blog content schedule, including writing compelling content, optimizing for SEO, preparing imagery, staging, and publishing 5-7 posts / month with a focus on the tech community.Community Engagement: Actively monitor and manage community interactions, fostering fan engagement, responding to audience feedback, and building brand loyalty.What You'll Need5+ years of experience in digital content management, social media strategy, or a related field.Proven ability to write compelling, actionable, and insightful creative briefs that effectively guide content development and campaign execution.Strong strategic thinking and demonstrated leadership in developing and executing successful social media campaigns that align with brand objectives and audience behavior.Expertise in translating complex data and insights into clear, strategic direction for content and platform growth.Deep understanding of current social media platforms (e.g., YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) and their respective best practices.Experience with content management systems (CMS) and social media management tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and brand voice.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.A proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented mindset.We believe the best work happens when we're together, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection.
