The Casualty and Litigation team handle a variety of claim across several lines of business, including Auto, CGL, Directors’ and Officers’, and Professional Liability claims. Our Claims Adjusters are responsible for providing efficient and prompt investigation, assessing coverage liability, and damages while working directly with third parties and counsel to drive the claim to conclusion.We want your talentIf you are great at:Adjudicating intermediate to complex claims, including files in litigationConfirming coverage and completing a liability investigationPreparing file summaries for internal reporting, large loss, and reinsuranceEffectively managing a busy day to day scheduleProviding a great Customer experienceAnd you have:Post-Secondary Education in an Insurance focused program or related programCompleted or working towards the CIP designation (an asset)A minimum of 3 years of liability claim handling experienceExperience with commercial lines an assetStrong technical skills with MS Office SuiteAbility to clearly communicate with Claimants, Brokers, and Legal CounselWe really mean it when we say we put you first.
