In this role, you will lead quality assurance and control processes for construction, guaranteeing compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements through construction planning and execution. Your expertise will help us deliver projects that meet the highest standards of safety, durability, and performance. We offer a flexible hybrid work model, enabling you to work from home AND our Vancouver office. Primary Responsibilities Develop and implement quality management plans and supporting documents for construction projects Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to specifications and codes Oversee key on‑site construction activities to ensure uncompromising quality, and strict adherence to project standards and timelines Collaborate with project managers, construction supervision, engineers, safety management and contractors to resolve quality issues Ensure accuracy and compliance of work by reviewing contractor documentation and maintaining precise records of all quality control activities and reports Monitoring and reporting of construction quality metrics Lead strategic planning and scheduling initiatives, optimizing team resources to ensure seamless project execution and on‑time delivery Train and mentor teams on best practices in quality assurance Qualifications Degree, diploma or certification in Construction or Engineering (Electrical/Civil/Structural/Mechanical) or any other relevant field Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction quality management in utility sectors, preferably Electric Transmission and Distribution projects Demonstrated experience managing construction quality and inspections (example: powerline technician or substation technician) Strong knowledge of construction practices, standards, and QA/QC processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) to support documentation, analysis, and communication Detail oriented and strong ability working with engineering and construction documentation Excellent communication skills in English and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and clients Availability to work on‑site a few days per month The expected salary for this position is from $125,000 to $145,000 based on the richness and diversity of the candidate’s experience, training, skills and internal equity.
