About The Role Genesys is seeking a highly driven Account Executive (AE) focused on expansions to cultivate strategic growth within a defined set of named accounts in the Banking and Public sector, mainly in Switzerland. This role orchestrates meaningful revenue expansion by deeply engaging existing customers, shaping future‑state customer experience strategies, and positioning Genesys’ industry‑leading AI‑powered experience orchestration capabilities. As a consultative advisor, the AE uncovers new value opportunities, expands Genesys’ footprint across new buying centers, and drives transformational digital and AI roadmaps that fuel upsell and cross‑sell opportunities. Key Responsibilities Execute targeted growth strategies for named accounts to increase Genesys’s footprint. Manage full sales cycle for upsell and cross‑sell opportunities. Create and maintain a strong pipeline aligned to revenue goals and accurately forecast to senior sales leadership and sales operations. Position Genesys’s AI and cloud capabilities to solve key business challenges. Translate AI use cases into clear business value and ROI for customers. Partner with internal teams to deliver tailored AI growth plays. Map customer organizations to uncover new stakeholders and decision‑makers. Engage additional lines of business such as digital, operations, marketing, IT, and innovation teams. Create multithreaded relationships to broaden influence and opportunity creation. Proactively prospect within existing accounts to uncover whitespace. Use insights and adoption trends to identify new use cases and expansion pathways. Develop holistic CX transformation visions aligned to customer strategy. Win executive sponsorship by articulating clear value, roadmap, and business outcomes. Maintain comprehensive account plans including whitespace, AI opportunities, and growth roadmaps. Collaborate with partner ecosystem, Customer Success, Solution Consulting, Professional Services, and Marketing to execute account strategies. Serve as a trusted advisor across senior and executive levels. Conduct regular business reviews and guide customers through their CX and AI maturity journey. What We’re Looking For Sales Expertise Up to 10 years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, ideally in CX, AI, CRM, BPM, cloud, or digital transformation. Proven success expanding enterprise accounts and managing complex sales cycles. Demonstrated ability to drive strategic upsell and cross‑sell motions with executive stakeholders. Strong prospecting skills with a track record of uncovering and developing new opportunities within accounts. AI & Technology Acumen Solid understanding of AI‑powered solutions and ability to articulate AI‑driven business value and connect use cases to measurable outcomes. Account Penetration & Organizational Mapping Skilled at identifying new buying centers and building multithreaded customer relationships. Able to engage cross‑functionally across customer service, sales, marketing, operations, IT, and innovation teams. Customer Experience & Vision Development Ability to craft and communicate a holistic CX vision aligned to customer strategy and transformation goals. Experience guiding customers through CX and AI maturity journeys. Proven ability to win executive sponsor buy‑in for multi‑year roadmaps and value realization plans. Strategic Thinking & Execution Strong account planning, opportunity qualification, and territory strategy abilities. Skilled at synthesizing customer insights and aligning solutions to business outcomes. Communication & Leadership Executive presence with strong storytelling and consultative communication skills. Ability to influence diverse audiences and lead cross‑functional teams toward shared account goals.
