Lead Solutions Systems ArchitectHave you moved Applications and Data Centers to the Cloud on a large scale? We are looking for a individual high level contributer to mentor, advise, and guide during this project.Additional Details:
  • Role Complexity: The role is complex, involving a high level of technical expertise and responsibility.
  • Independence: This is an independent contributor role, reporting into Constantine.
  • Guidance and Feedback: Ability to provide guidance and feedback on the Corporate Information Solutions (CIS) portfolio.
  • Application Portfolios: Works with large application portfolios, requiring a deep understanding of various technologies.
  • Technical Design Review: Ability to review technical designs for solutions.
  • Innovation: Expected to stay up-to-date with the latest trends in technology and drive ongoing innovation.
  • Architect Development: Trusted owner of architect development, responsible for the growth and development of architects within the team.
  • Passion for Technology: Must be passionate about technology and its applications.
  • Application Design: Involved in the design and creation of applications using Java Script, MEAN stack, and Python.
  • Experience Focus: Hiring manager is not solely focused on the number of years' experience but on overall experience and expertise.

Expectations and Responsibilities:
  • Drive Solution Architecture best practices across CIS teams.
  • Provide team management, strategic direction, and mentorship to global Solution Architects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver business goals aligned with technical strategy.
  • Manage resource allocation and technical development for the team.
  • Lead the Solution Architecture practice, ensuring standards, frameworks, and policies are aligned with the technical strategy.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to evolve the technology portfolio in support of the business strategy.
  • Provide technical expertise on key initiatives with departmental impact.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Required Experience and Skills:
  • Proven experience as a senior solution architect with hands-on experience in solution design.
  • Expert understanding of solution architecture standards and best practices.
  • Extensive experience designing solutions using Agile best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in guiding and developing a team of Solution Architects.
  • Excellent relationship building skills, including the ability to influence and collaborate with senior business and technology partners.
  • Advanced communication skills, including conveying complex technical strategy and obstacles.
  • In-depth knowledge of modern software architectures, including microservices, APIs, cloud computing, and data insights.
  • Proficiency in MEAN stack, Python, or other middleware technologies.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud, Multi Factor Authentication, Single Sign On (OAuth, SAML), Containerization / Kubernetes, Microservice-based architecture, Secure By Design concepts, Secure DevOps, Big Data / Data Lake / LakeHouse/ BI Tools, Application Performance Monitoring (APM) techniques, and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with recognized document standards (C4, UML, Archimate).
