.Net Solution Designer/Architect

Toronto, ON (Onsite- Hybrid- 3 days onsite)

Long Term Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices and coding standards are followed.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in the .Net technology stack, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to architectural guidelines.
  • Use of Agile methodology, lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Leverage cloud technologies, such as AWS, to architect and deploy scalable and resilient .Net solutions.
  • Identifying and addressing potential technical risks and challenges, proactively assessing the system's architecture to identify any potential issues and devising strategies to mitigate them.

Must have:

  • Strong development experience in .Net technology, including C#, ASP.Net, .Net Core, and related frameworks.
  • Proven experience in architecting and designing complex, enterprise-level .Net applications.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, or similar certifications.
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in .Net technology with a strong industry track record.
  • Proficiency in database design and management using SQL Server
  • Experience with Agile methodology and its application to software development projects.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, such as Azure or AWS, including infrastructure as code and cloud-native services.
  • Experience of leading a large development team.
