Cardiac Rehabilitation Therapist Position: Cardiac Rehabilitation Therapist in the Cardiac Rehab Clinic. Role Level: AH08.2 $40.33 to $52.29 per hour. Status: Part Time Temporary (up to 18 months). Shift: Monday and Wednesday 0730‑1530, Friday 0730‑1200. Site: Queensway Health Centre. Posted: January 13, 2026 – Internal Deadline: January 20, 2026. Position Summary The successful candidate will work with a team of professionals in screening referrals, writing exercise prescriptions, leading exercise classes, performing risk-factor counseling and establishing appropriate treatment plans based on the patient’s assessment and medical history. Qualifications Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology or equivalent. Preference for applicants with an ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) Certification. Previous experience in cardiovascular rehabilitation, including a track‑based program. Excellent motivational, organizational, educational, leadership, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills required. Knowledge of fundamentals of exercise physiology, correct exercise technique and ability to read electrocardiograms. Knowledge of cardiac medications, physiology and coronary risk factors essential. Exemplary attendance and performance record required. Priority will be given to internal applicants.
