Job Summary As a Veterinary Technician for our Medicine & Surgery team located in Senneville, you will be responsible for the well‑being of our laboratory animals. Your contribution will ensure the health of our animals, as well as the integrity of our pre‑clinical studies. Responsibilities Evaluate and follow the health status of animals under veterinary supervision. Work closely with our veterinarians to prepare and perform treatment plans. Perform medical treatments, interventions, and diagnostic tests under veterinary supervision. Identify potential animal welfare issues and find solutions. Qualifications College Diploma in Animal Health. Able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.). Good observation skills. Problem solving skills. Role Specific Information Location: 22022 route Transcanadienne, Senneville, QC, H9X 1C1. Transportation: Free shuttle service from the Sainte‑Anne‑de‑Bellevue train station and John Abbott College; free parking; electric vehicle charging station. Salary: Starting at $23 per hour, with opportunity for higher level and salary based on specific research experience. Annual bonus based on performance. Schedule: Weekdays, Monday to Friday; overtime and weekend rotations may be required. Permanent full‑time position, 37.5 hours per week.
