Role Summary The Content & Engagement Specialist is a creative and strategic marketing professional responsible for strengthening the Steve Marshall Group’s online presence. This role focuses on developing engaging content, managing social media platforms, supporting community engagement, and driving lead generation through digital initiatives. By highlighting the people and communities behind our brand, the Content & Engagement Specialist will play a key role in connecting with customers, enhancing brand reputation, and supporting dealership growth. Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Social Media Manage and create content for all social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Develop engaging posts, videos, stories, and blogs aligned with marketing goals. Create marketing advertisements, META ads, and banners for the website. Ensure all content is consistent with brand standards and OEM guidelines. Community Engagement Actively engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and interactions. Support and capture local community sponsorships and events for online promotion. Showcase team members, culture, and diversity to build authentic connections with audiences. Digital Marketing & Analytics Contribute to SEO initiatives and increase website traffic through social content. Update website content weekly to ensure information remains fresh and relevant. Track and report social media engagement, website traffic, and campaign performance. Support Google Analytics reporting and lead generation campaigns. Monitor social media trends and adapt strategies to stay competitive. Qualifications & Requirements Proven experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing (automotive industry experience is an asset). Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in content management systems, social media platforms, and analytics tools. Basic graphic design skills; experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva preferred. Photography and video editing skills considered an asset. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate within a team.
