Business Excellence Co-op Join DLL as a Business Excellence Co‑op and gain hands‑on experience working with the Business Excellence team across various functions—Operations, Digital/Product, Sales, Finance, Risk, and more. The role will support cross‑functional workshops, project management, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives. Day to Day Operational Excellence Participate in cross‑functional workshops and support the Business Excellence Team to problem‑solve and document processes/opportunities that improve customer and employee experience. Support the Business Excellence Team to automate processes using digital tools such as Robotic Process Automation and AI to significantly enhance customer experience. Learn active listening skills, exposure to cross‑functional collaboration, and real‑world structured problem‑solving using Lean Six Sigma tools. Project Management Assist Project Managers in executing cross‑functional projects, including recording meeting minutes and owning tasks where applicable. Prepare monthly update reports for all stakeholders within DLL Canada. Develop crucial aspects of project management such as time‑management, resource planning, and project‑level communication methods. Operational Metrics Gather monthly and quarterly Operations metrics using established reporting tools. Co‑develop monthly and quarterly presentations, conduct data‑trend analysis and commentary, and review with the Operational Excellence Manager before publication. Learn data analysis, identify trends, communicate findings concisely, and develop hypotheses for root‑cause and corrective actions with coaching and mentoring. Process Libraries Help the team create and maintain process libraries that contain end‑to‑end process maps and critical metrics. Maintain process libraries that measure process performance. Essentials Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a changing environment. Strong initiative through proactive interactions and idea development. Highly flexible and adaptable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Customer‑service focused. Curious by nature. Relevant coursework or experience in Business Administration, IT Project Management, CX/UX Design, or Process Quality programmes. Experience with MS Office products; MS Visio a plus. Must be enrolled in a post‑secondary education co‑op program. Ability to work remotely, independently in a virtual team environment, and in‑person for process improvement workshops (approximately 2–3 times per week).
