Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site position for the role of Manager of Advocacy and Engagement, based in Winnipeg, MB. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include fostering stakeholder relationships, coordinating community engagement initiatives, preparing reports and communications, advocating for social justice issues, and working to promote member involvement and public awareness. The role also involves collaborating with leadership to align advocacy efforts with organizational goals. Qualifications Experience with advocacy, community engagement, and stakeholder relations Strong communication skills, including public speaking, written communication, and presentation development Proficiency in project management, team leadership, and strategic planning Knowledge of social work practices, ethical frameworks, and principles of social justice Preferred experience in non‑profit organizations or professional regulatory bodies Bachelor’s degree (required); advanced degree in Social Work, Public Policy, or a related field is an asset Problem‑solving skills and the ability to handle complex issues with confidentiality, tact, and professionalism Proficiency in relevant software tools, including Microsoft Office and related digital platforms Familiarity with the social work landscape in Manitoba is a strong advantage Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Full‑time Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Manitoba College of Social Workers by 2‑fold. #J-18808-Ljbffr
