To support its continued growth in Canada, EMPWR is hiring a hands‑on, action‑driven Director of Finance & Administration to lead key enabling functions and support strategic growth. About the Role This role acts as the right hand to the President of EMPWR Canada, overseeing Finance, HR, and IT functions. The Director will ensure these areas run smoothly, compliantly, and in alignment with global standards—while tailoring them to the needs of the Canadian business. Key Responsibilities Finance (in collaboration with Group Finance) Lead financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting Manage AP/AR, payroll coordination, and compliance Serve as key contact for audits, banking, and external financial stakeholders Partner with Group Finance on performance tracking HR (in collaboration with Group HR) Oversee HR administration, employee records, and policy compliance Support recruitment, onboarding, and development initiatives Handle employee relations and ensure legal compliance Foster a strong, values‑driven company culture IT (in collaboration with Group IT) Ensure smooth functioning of local IT infrastructure and support Coordinate implementation of group IT systems and processes Act as liaison between local operations and global IT projects What You Bring 10+ years of experience in administrative, finance, or business services roles Strong generalist background across finance, HR, and IT Proactive, organized, and solution‑oriented mindset Experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments is a plus Comfortable with both strategic leadership and hands‑on execution Why EMPWR?
