At Interpro Pipe & Steel Inc. our strength starts with our people As a team we collaborate to solve problems contribute ideas and challenge each other to ensure growth and ultimately success for the business and our employees.JOB SUMMARYThe Engineering Co-op Student will work at Interpro Pipe & Steel Quality department at the Interpro Red Deer pipe manufacturing facility located north of the City of Red Deer AB for a period of 4 or 8 months. This position will begin in the January term.As a member of the Process Control group they will participate in tubular specialized testing projects and reviewing process data to identify non-conforming conditions. The successful applicant will use investigative techniques such as statistical process control process analyses data collection and will have exposure to mechanical testing and metallographic analyses. The position will provide exposure to all aspects of Interpro Red Deer operations including pipe forming welding heat treatment and threading.Interpro Pipe & Steel is committed to maintaining and promoting a safe healthy and injury-free environment.
