The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential construction, a passion for sustainable building practices, and exceptional leadership skills to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Oversight: Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities for custom smart homes and passive homes, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate a team of carpenters and other construction personnel, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment.Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure it meets high-quality standards, adheres to design specifications, and complies with building codes and regulations.Safety Management: Enforce and implement safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant worksite. Conduct safety meetings and ensure adherence to local safety regulations.Resource Management: Oversee the effective management and allocation of materials, tools, and equipment. Monitor inventory levels, place orders for additional supplies as needed, and ensure proper maintenance of resources.Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on-site, providing updates on project progress, addressing any concerns, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any on-site issues or challenges related to work quality, safety, or project timelines.Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed project records, including daily reports, change orders, and progress updates.QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in residential construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or site superintendent role.
