Our Calgary client is looking for a Senior Mobile Technician with voice radio systems experience to install, maintain and support enterprise communication networks at an Oil Sand Facility. One year contract to start. Candidates must be local to the Fort McMurray area. Monday to Thursday schedule, 40 hours per week.

Must Haves:
  1. 7+ years of experience as a Mobile Technician / Engineer
  2. Management and administration of conventional, analogue and digital trunked two-way radio systems (Motorola Connect Plus and Capacity Max)
  3. Experience with Scada systems (GE MDS), pagers transmitters and receivers
  4. Experience developing and interpretating network diagrams, building layouts & electrical drawings
  5. Fibre optics experience
  6. Experience managing vendor support agreements
Responsibilities:
  1. Support the execution of upgrade projects as required
  2. Radio system life cycle maintenance support
  3. First line of response to troubleshoot faults in the voice radio system
  4. Project support for system implementation
  5. Inventory of equipment and life cycle management
  6. System maintenance, repair and troubleshooting
