The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be a key executive, working closely with the CEO and the Board of Directors, to drive the organization's mission of providing tailored support to its member communities and ensuring sustainable growth and development. This newly created role demands a leader with a strategic and compassionate approach, capable of aligning financial strategies with the company's goals and of fostering strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects, leading the budgeting and planning processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and identifying and mitigating financial and organizational risks.

Applicants for the CFO position at the company must have a post-secondary education, such as a bachelor's degree, MBA, or CPA designation, and a minimum of 10 years of senior financial leadership experience, preferably within a First Nations or Indigenous organization. The role requires in-depth knowledge of financial management principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to interpret complex financial data. The CFO will also be expected to have excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of driving financial performance and achieving organizational objectives. An understanding of Indigenous history, traditions, and beliefs is essential, with the ability to implement cultural values and practices within service delivery.
