Position Details Contract name: 25SEC122 Position type: Permanent Contract – English – 1 Section (0.33 semester FTE) Location: Orangeville DSS Work schedule: TBD Salary Range: $59,300.82 – $119,670.49 per annum (grid rate based on QECO rating and teaching experience; prorated for FTE; effective 1 Sept 2025) Start date: January 30 2026 Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy Responsibilities Reporting to the Principal of the assigned school, the Permanent Teacher is responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing curriculum‑based instruction in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education standards and Board Policies. The teacher collaborates with colleagues, parents and the community to support student success, well‑being, and inspire a love of learning. Required Qualifications Senior English teaching credential Application Details Candidates are invited to submit their application through the Board’s application portal. A minimum of two professional supervisory references are required, including at least one from your current Principal or Vice‑Principal.
