This position falls under our Cross-Border line of business and will be located in Toronto, Canada. In this role, you will act as a key driver of new business growth, responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting corporate prospects into long-term clients. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Business Development, Dealing, and various shared services teams and contribute to the team's overall success.How We WorkAs an Account Executive you will be expected to work in our Toronto office. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:Assigned workspace in Toronto, CanadaFormal, hands‑on trainingAchieving monthly targets by identifying, accessing, and selling prospects on the value Cambridge can bring to their respective businessConvincing a prospect to move from a warm lead to becoming a Cambridge client by completing an application to conduct a first‑time trade with an experienced in‑house Cambridge Account Executive/TraderSetting and attending self‑generated first appointments with a prospect of conducting either a phone discussion or a face‑to‑face meeting for companies with exposures between 2MM to 5MM per annumSetting and attending an appointment with experienced National Account Manager, for any self‑generated first appointments with exposure exceeding more than 5MM per annumConducting prospect demonstrations of Cambridge Online as an efficient and effective payment system optionConducting innovative prospecting programs such as e‑marketing campaigns, webinars, list sourcing, cold calling, trade association penetration and more.Continually market to those prospects who are not ready to move to Cambridge by making periodic calls and emails, sending timely market updates and marketing materialsMaking regular updates to the company CRM system, Salesforce.comSourcing and generating leads for potential new businessCreating a positive impression of Cambridge with prospects by acting professionally and providing timely and accurate follow‑up.Qualifications & Skills5+ years of inside and/or outside sales experience; telesales experience is a definite assetKnowledge of the financial markets will be a plus, along with payment process understanding (training will be given)Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeExperience with CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce.com)Experience in sales acquiring new customer relationships in the global and domestic payments business.Understanding of the corporate foreign exchange process and flow of funds from the client through to the beneficiaries.Understanding of Compliance as it relates to the Corporate Payments IndustryProven track record of success sufficient first appointments generatedUnderstanding and demonstrable success in closing small to mid‑sized businesses.Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsStrong sense of professionalismTenacity, resilience and a positive outlookCredibility, and confidence to liaise with Directors, and C‑Level Executives of large corporationsDriven to succeedProven ability to deliver results within required deadlinesAbility to work in a metrics reporting environmentThe ability to work independently and as a team player.Comprehensive Benefits Package including, Medical, Dental, Vision and Paramedical benefits, as of day oneOptional company match RRSP programVirtual fitness classes offered company‑wideDiscounted gym membership ratePhilanthropic support with both local and national organizationsFun culture with company‑wide contests and prizesCorpay is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Where a position or applicant may fall in a particular wage range depends on a number of factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience training licenses and certifications (if applicable), and other business and organization needs. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets. At Corpay it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case.
