About Armazon Armazon Hub Pty Ltd is an Australian construction services company specializing in the supply, assembly, and disassembly of scaffolding systems. The Position Reporting to the CEO, the General Accountant will be responsible for performing a range of accounting and financial functions to support the corporate financial obligations of Armazon Pty Ltd. The position requires strong business and financial acumen, a practical approach with strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively. Spanish language skills are advantageous to support internal communication with management and stakeholders. The successful applicant will be highly organised and analytical, with the ability to provide reliable and timely financial reporting to internal stakeholders, while supporting the day-to-day financial transactional and reporting requirements across Armazon.

Key Duties

& Responsibilities Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow reports. Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger, including journals, accruals, and prepayments. Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Assist with budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.

Support month‑end and year‑end close processes in coordination with external accountants and auditors. Assist with statutory and taxation obligations, including BAS, GST, PAYG, and related reporting, where applicable. Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, procedures, and financial controls. Prepare financial analysis and management reports to support business decision‑making.

Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, and reporting efficiency.

Skills

& Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Minimum 2–3 years’ relevant experience in a General Accountant or similar role. Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.

Experience

with general ledger management, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Exposure to construction or project‑based environments is advantageous. Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Spanish language skills are advantageous to support internal communication with management and stakeholders.
