We are currently seeking an individual for the role of Animal Care Specialist within the Kemptville production facility. The successful candidate must have a good knowledge of livestock care and be physically capable of handling large bulls. hay, silage and manure handling are part of the regular job duties. This position requires working a day shift from 6:30am to 3pm and requires working rotating weekends and statutory holidays as scheduled. Responsibilities Semen Collection Feeding and caring for bulls Operating farm equipment Seasonal crop work Mechanical and manual barn cleaning Qualifications High School Diploma Valid Driver's ID Strong agricultural experience, including livestock handling & care Ability and experience operating farm equipment; solid mechanical aptitude Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team If you are looking for an organization that invests in its people, is engaging, flexible and striving for betterment this is the opportunity for you At Semex, we demand the best of ourselves, our company and what we do for our customers.
