Payroll Administrator – AutoCanada Base pay range: CA$60,000.00/yr - CA$80,000.00/yr Location: AutoCanada Home Office, Edmonton, AB Classification: Full-Time, Immediate Hire AutoCanada is seeking a motivated Payroll Administrator to grow their career in payroll. The successful candidate will assist in processing payroll accurately and on time for multiple locations across Canada, ensure compliance with Canadian payroll legislation, and support day‑to‑day payroll operations. Responsibilities Assist in processing weekly, bi‑weekly and semi‑monthly payrolls for 500–1000 employees across multiple provinces and locations in compliance with federal and provincial regulations Maintain and update employee payroll records and data in payroll systems Respond to payroll inquiries regarding payroll, benefits and taxes Assist with year‑end processes including T4 preparation and ROEs Maintain confidentiality of payroll and personnel information Assist with onboarding new employees Must‑haves Basic understanding of Canadian payroll regulations and standards Excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality Willingness to learn and grow within the role 1–3 years Canadian payroll experience PCP (Payroll Compliance Professional) designation, or working towards, is preferred Accurate and timely payroll processing Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and payroll data Employee records management Respond to payroll related inquiries Perks Competitive Compensation and Benefits Package Employee Vehicle Purchase & Service Plans Employee and Family Assistance Programs Company‑wide appreciation events and contests throughout the calendar year Professional development and the opportunity to grow your career At AutoCanada, we strive to create a workplace culture that embraces diversity and inclusivity, ensures fairness and equal opportunities, and fosters a sense of belonging for all Team Members.
