Electrical Engineer (PCBs for Naval Robotics) Base pay range CA$90,000.00/yr - CA$128,000.00/yr Job Summary Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the team at a leading marine technology company based in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland. The role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of three days per week onsite, and relocation support is available. Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and integration of electrical systems, including PCBs, wiring harnesses, and mixed analog/digital components. Ensure compliance with technical standards, safety requirements, and manufacturability considerations. Conduct circuit simulations, develop system architectures, and establish design criteria. Oversee testing and validation activities, support manufacturing, installation, and field operations. Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, review and approve engineering deliverables. Mentor junior staff and engage with customers to define project needs. Required Skills & Experience Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent background, with a minimum of 8+ years of experience. Proficiency in reviewing PCB fabrication and assembly drawings. Ability to troubleshoot noise, distortion, cross‑talk, grounding, and similar issues. Experience with linear DC and switched‑mode power supplies, microcontrollers, and digital signal processing. Nice to Have Skills & Experience Experience with sensors/telemetry. Experience with Altium, LabVIEW, Zuken E3, and Colab. Experience with ABB motors and drives. Experience with embedded controllers. Proficiency in using lab equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers).
