Accountant (15 months maternity leave replacement) (Montreal, QC (Remote/Hybrid)) Join the World's Leading Product Review Company as an Accountant for a 15 months maternity leave contract (with possibility of permanence) RTINGS.com is a fast-growing company; help shape the future of product reviews and become part of the trusted source consumers rely on to make informed purchasing decisions based on their needs Overview of what we offer Very c ompetitive salar ies Fully paid collective insurance benefits Fitness reimbursement contribution Employee referral program Culture of fun and get together When working at the office, beverages are on us Responsibilities Process and maintain daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness Review and allocate corporate credit card transactions to the appropriate accounts and accounting periods Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies when needed Record and reconcile monthly revenue entries Support the month-end close Collaborate with the Facilities Department to ensure transaction details and documentation are complete Review and approve employee benefit reimbursement requests in accordance with internal policy Assist in analytical review and investigation of monthly financial performance of Company Finance point of contact for all questions Personality Detail-oriented and organized Strong work ethic and integrity Selfless and customer oriented Qualifications and Experience 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting or similar financial operations role Experience and understanding of accounting processes Familiarity with SME accounting software like Xero, QBO or Sage Good knowledge of financial reporting Computer proficiency in Microsoft Suite (with emphasis on Excel skills) Good communication skills in French & English Does this position interest you?
