Lead AML Financial Crime Risk Investigator (4305) Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada Hours: 37.5 hours per week Sector: Lutte blanchiment d’argent Salary: $96,900 – $136,800 CAD (base salary) Leads thematic investigative projects, including regulatory and public‑private partnerships. Handles complex, sensitive investigations such as AML, ATF, sanctions, and abusive financial conduct. Responsible for reporting, mitigating, and disrupting financial crime. Responsibilities Lead a variety of complex investigations, including AML, sanctions/ABAC, and financial crime. Apply sound methodologies to collect, preserve, and analyze evidence while staying current on global emerging risks and technology threats. Assess and prioritize files and investigate assigned cases, ensuring proper protocols are in place and effectively applied. Collaborate with counterparts at other financial institutions, law enforcement, NGOs, and government to maximize information sharing and reduce TDBFG exposure. Conduct investigations in a professional and timely manner. Identify and communicate procedural weaknesses to businesses and ensure remediation processes, including follow‑up for corrective action. Identify industry and typology risk trends for respective program areas and share knowledge with stakeholders, including law enforcement. Maintain and establish working relationships with internal partners (e.g., HR, Employment Standards, Legal) for investigative purposes. Collect, preserve, and analyze digital evidence in accordance with investigative mandate. Qualifications Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience. 7+ years of experience in financial crime investigations. Hybrid Work Model Work activities include a blend of highly collaborative activities and individual deliverables. Employees are expected to be onsite 4 days a week effective 3 Nov 2025.
