If you are ready to be part of a great team that is passionate about their work and improving the lives of our Residents, this is the role for youDuties and ResponsibilitiesEnsuring food is handled in a safe manner, including proper storage and labelingAssisting cooks in basic food preparationExecuting proper food service in relation to internal and external guidelines and protocolsServing meals according to Resident diet ordersWashing, cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and dining roomQualificationsMandatory enrollment or completion of a College Level Food Service Worker Program, meeting the requirements of the Ontario Long-Term Care Homes ActPossess a current Safe Food Handling CertificateHave a caring heart with a passion for serving othersPassion for providing quality care to residents in a long-term care settingExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenDemonstrated ability to be a team playerInterested applicants should send their resumes here.
