Join the Badger team as a Hydrovac Operator In this role, you'll use high-pressure water and vacuum systems to dig precisely and efficiently, uncover utilities, and contribute to various construction projects. Salary: Union wages and benefits to be discussed directly with the Branch Manager. Responsibilities Operating hydrovac equipment and performing duties in various environments, including confined spaces Driving hydrovac trucks (10-15% of total work time) Attending safety meetings Performing routine inspections and minor repairs of hydrovac equipment Preparing work areas with safety measures and hazard mitigation Documenting and reporting all paperwork accurately and efficiently Qualifications Valid 1, 3, or DZ license (A-D license in Ontario) with airbrake endorsement First aid, Ground Disturbance, and CSTS preferred; other safety tickets may be required depending on location Experience driving a manual transmission (10-18 speed) Ability to work variable shifts and extended hours Willingness to travel up to 25% Physical ability to lift, push, pull 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions Prior hydrovac operation or related industrial experience preferred Additional Requirements Customer service skills and comfort with customer interaction Safety-focused and collaborative attitude Tech-savvy Personal Protective Equipment provided Must undergo physical exam and pre-employment screenings Union membership may be required About Us Badger Infrastructure Solutions leads in non-destructive hydro-excavation services since 1992, serving diverse markets across Canada and the US.
